Building Relationships Through Christ: A Nationwide Movement

Step Up is a Gospel proclamation movement that began in 2006 in Toronto at Atkinson Housing Co-op. What started as a grassroots outreach initiative among believers from different churches has grown into a united expression of evangelism, prayer, and worship.

Through the preaching of the Word and through worship. Step Up proclaims the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in communities across the city and beyond. The movement exists to bring people together in unity, lift up the name of Jesus, and create spaces where lives can be transformed through the message of the gospel.

Today, Step Up continues as one of the active expressions within the broader Christ for Canada movement. While it is one expression within a larger national vision, it carries the same heart and mission: to proclaim the Gospel, encourage the Church, and call people toward spiritual renewal through worship, prayer, and the Word of God.  When each of us step up and work together, there is no stopping the Church!  Step Up!
